It’s amazing how much you can learn about yourself when you’re not sitting in front of a computer all weekend. I don’t really think I’ve done this much personal thinking in a while. I mean, when you’re driving in a car for as long as I was, you really don’t have very much else to do. I’ll get to my thoughts later on in the day. First I’ll give ya a quick recap.

The weekend was way nice. Visiting my friends in Arizona was something I totally needed. One, it got me away from doing nothing but sitting in from of my computer like I normally do on the weekend. Two, I got to see the NASCAR race I’ve been waiting for all season. Three, I got to see some friends I haven’t seen in a while. I took a ton of pictures (about 300 in all) and they’re all going up on my photo album soon. It’s gonna take a while to sort through them so bare with me.

Alright, I need to get back to work (sure I do). I’ll probably post what I’ve been thinking in a couple of hours.

I was just sitting here thinking about the drive I’m gonna make to Arizona tonight. 5 hours in a car all by myself doesn’t sound very fun. I’m basically relying completely on my iPod to get me through the trip. I know the thing wont be able to go for 5 hours non-stop, so I need to pick up a car charger for it before I take off. I’m also gonna load up on caffeine pills considering I got about 3 hours of sleep last night. I came into work early today so I could take off around 3:30pm, get home around 4pm to grab the charger and some other things, and take off around 5pm. If I can keep my speed up, it should take me 5 hours to get there. Add an extra hour because of the time change and I should arrive in Tempe, AZ at 11pm. To make everything worse, it’s raining hard in Southern California right now so it’s gonna take forever to get out of here. Let’s just add an extra hour to that trip then. I’ll be in Tempe at midnight.

If I just keep thinking about the NASCAR race this weekend, I should be ok, but I can definitely see myself pulling over to a rest stop if it starts getting bad.

I don’t care what anyone is saying about this weeks Denver/Oakland game. I think Oakland isn’t going to win and not only post their 5 consecutive loss, but also fall under the .500 mark. What better way to prove this than to bet SMASHEM again. After winning all my money back last week, I’m ready to go into the positives for the first time this year. It’s $10 and I’ve gotta beat a spread of 7 points with Denver. We push if it’s exactly 7. What do ya think?

Welcome to “Thoughts From The Bowl”. I am currently writing to you directly on my PowerBook in the middle of me pooping on my toilet. God bless 802.11b and Airport! This is probably going to be a continuous column that I only write while on the toilet (of course) since I tend to take my Book with me anytime I go. And now onto my thoughts.

I need to get more toilet paper tomorrow or I wont be doing anymore of these columns. As always, I grab the Charmin Ultra double rolls because they’re softer and thicker than ever. I don’t skimp when it comes to the health of my ass and you shouldn’t either.

I’ve started to update my photo album so it’s consistant with the rest of my site. I also added two new sections to the album. The first images are all the pictures we took on Halloween last week. A lot of the darker ones came out bad because I had to use a long exposure with no tripod, but you should get the idea. The second set of images are from this weekend when my friend, Grant, came over from Arizona. There was a large amount of alcohol consumed so some of the pictures are blurry. I like the ones of us presenting Grant with a temporary set of balls since his girlfriend has the originals.

I haven’t had a Best Buy Tuesday in a while, and this one was a good one. Let’s start off the the obvious. Felicity: The Complete First Season is the big one for me obviously. Next up there was The X-Files: Season Six. It’s the X-Files so there’s no explaination here. Madden 2003 for Game Boy Advanced also made it into my bag. I don’t think I quite realize how much of an impact this is going to have on work. I can already see myself and SMASHEM taking extended bathroom breaks (not together you homos) for this one. Last, but not least, is the new Justin Timberlake album. I know I’m gonna get a lot of flack for this one, but f*ck all of you! It’s good. He is a tallented singer and half of the songs are about Britney so it’s funny when you listen to it.

So anything else happen tonight? Well of course. 24 was on and Elisha was looking as cute as ever. I don’t know if I like the mother roll she’s playing right now to that little girl on the show, but whatever. Jack (Kiefer Sutherland’s character) is absolutely insane this season and it’s GREAT!

One more quick thing. I played the demo for Splinter Cell on Xbox. I have two words for you: JESUS GOD! This game is unbelievable. You could probably compare it to Metal Gear Solid 2, but on steroids and doesn’t suck. If you have an Xbox, reserve it now for the November 18th release or you’re not going to get it.

Ok, sleepy time. I have more stuff to say, but I’ll wait until I can waste the time at work.

Thank the maker! This fits in perfectly with my plan to find away to never leave my place. Now I just need to find some wireless waterproof game controllers and I’m so set.

…it’s time to clean my work station.
…for a “paperless company”, I sure need to go over a lot of paper work.

…it’s sh*t kicking time for the people at GoDaddy for not being able to take care of my domain forwarding problem.

…I can’t wait to get to Arizona in this coming 3 day weekend to see some friends and the NASCAR race.

…there’s a ton of laundry to do and no one to do it for me.
…maybe it’s time to get a girlfriend.

…I hope my Acura doesn’t pass smog so I have to buy a new car.
