MacCentral: “Apple released Tuesday QuickTime v6.3, a new version of its multimedia technology. QuickTime 6.3 adds support for the 3rd Generation Partnership Project (3GPP) standard, bridging a connection to passing multimedia content over wireless networks on devices like cell phones and PDAs.”
This is one of…
This is one of those exercises you did back in high school where the teacher asked you to just write. It really didn’t matter about what. Just that you filled up your page.
Which reminds me, we did these journal type deals for the first 10 minutes of our English class. They usually had a theme surrounding them like writing about the previous weekend or starting it with “swallowed by the darkness, I…”. They would almost always end up with my friends and I making fun of each other using the most tasteless of tastes. “Swallowed by the darkness, I tried to grasp the inner wrinkles of Leo’s anus.” Tasteless, but completely hilarious (at the time). We still have most of these journals from high school and were going to adapted them into a visual form to be posted on the net. In fact, that was the original reason I bought the-journals.com, but it never happened.
I’m bailing out of this one because I’m boring myself more than I’m boring anyone who reads it. This is what happens when you force a post.
Metallica Rushes To Suck
E! Online News: “Citing ‘the prevalence of sub-standard’ versions (read: unauthorized downloads), Elektra Records has pushed up the release date of the band’s new album, St. Anger, to Thursday.”
You think we’ll see them in the iTunes Music Store anytime soon? Hmm, neither did I.
The Incredible Bulk
You’re making me horny. You wouldn’t like me when I’m horny.
It's a hot night…
It’s a hot night in So Cal. One of those nights I just have to sleep naked through. Thought I’d share.
Roy Retiring
NHL.com: “Colorado’s Patrick Roy is retiring, ending the 18-year career of one of the greatest goaltenders in NHL history… A four-time Stanley Cup champion, Roy leaves as the NHL’s career leader in victories with 551 and games played with 1,029. He also is the all-time leader in playoff victories, games played and shutouts.”
Along side Gretzky, Roy was the reason I got into hockey. You can’t deny his impact to the sport and although the peak of his career was some time ago, there’s no way anyone can say he’s leaving on a down note. He was easily one of the best goaltenders in the league this last season and will always be seen as one of the best (if not the best) goalies in the NHL ever. I’m truly saddened by this news.
Happy Memorial Day
I woke up just sober enough to wish everyone a happy Memorial Day. What are your plans today? Any interesting stories?
Guerilla Caffeine Reconnaissance
Lawrence Lessig: “dear Starbucks, say it ain’t true?”
Hmm. I never go into Starbucks because I’m just not a big coffee drinker, but after reading this I’m feeling like a quadruple freeza mocha wapa crapachino blast (light cinnamon of course) to celebrate a friend visiting me from AZ this weekend. You can bet your wrinkled teat that we’re gonna shoot stills and video of this joyous event. And if some high and mighty manager asks us holster those cameras… BAM!!! Someone’s getting an ass full of boot, LBC-style!
Look for those posts after the weekend. Maybe you should try it yourself to see what results you get. I’d love to check that out. Good luck to us all…
Brodeur & New Jersey: Cup Bound
Wow! That was quite a game. Looks like the New Jersey Devils are going up again the Fu… err, Ducks for the Stanley Cup. You know how I feel about Ahahiem already and I don’t like the Devils all that much either, but Martin Brodeur is down right awesome so I’m going for NJ. It’s going to be a pure goalie vs goalie match.
Radio Renewed
I have a special treat for myself. I’ve renewed my Radio Userland license for another year. Yes, this means I can keep jotting down pointless posts like this and this.
