No WMDs!?!

BBC News: “President Bush conceded that much of the intelligence was ‘wrong’ and that this required an explanation. But he insisted that the report showed the former Iraqi leader was a threat because he was trying to undermine international sanctions. ‘He was doing so with the intent of restarting his weapons programme once the world looked away,’ the president said.”

The Bush administration finally clearly admitted today that there were no WMDs in Iraq, but apparently invading their country was still ok because Hussein was thinking about restarting his weapons program. Attacking another country and coming up with your excuses later doesn’t fly if you ask me. Oh and neither does starting a war over a thought crime. Alright, back to my telescreen.
