A Man, His Beggin' Strips, & A Mission

The Sneeze: “I know these snacks aren’t made for human consumption, but while I was in the store the ingredients list looked pretty tame so I wasn’t too concerned… I’m sad to report that I did not run around the house yelling ‘Bacon!’ I did, however, run around the house yelling ‘Call 911!'”

The whole damn site is way too funny for you to not read it. Thanx for the find Mark.

Thoughts From The Bowl: Revo-COUGH-COUGH-lutions

I had your basic cold a little more than a month ago and I’m still dealing with the damn cough from it. It’s all you hear from me, day in and day out. Go ahead and ask anyone I work with. They’ll tell ya. I figure you leave it alone and it’ll go away, right? Apparently, that’s dead wrong. It got so bad this weekend that I couldn’t go out last night. Definitely not a good thing. Everyone is saying take it to the doctor. Nay, I tell them, nay. What do those sorcerers know? Nothing but a bunch of witchcraft and voodoo is what I say. Anyways, I’m deathly afraid of needles and doctor offices tend to carry those around.

Anyone else see The Matrix Revolutions? Did you like it? I really don’t know what to think after seeing it. It had its ups and downs. I think I’m understanding the concepts they were trying to get across but it was done in such a convoluted and muddled way. They tried to appeal to a number of different audiences and, in turn, none of it came out extraordinary. Ok, I take that back. Like the two other movies, Revolutions was very impressive technically.

So where’s the damn rain? The weather report called for rain today. It sure looks like it’s gonna rain, but it’s not raining. What the hell gives here? It also say we have rain coming up on Wednesday. You better take care of this, Lord. If you don’t you’re gonna have me on your hands.

Elisha For All

March 12th, 2004. Mark that day because my #1, Miss Cuthbert, is starring in her own movie, The Girl Next Door. I have no idea what it’s about but the poster looks great. Mmm.

It's OK

I don’t feel like doing that weekend update right now but I will leave you with one image from all of the photos taken. This is what happens to you when you’re the first one to pass out. Unfortunately, I’m usually the first. I’ll try and get this past weekend’s album up tonight or tomorrow night.

Back In SoCal

Back, safe and sound. I got some decent stories and good pictures. Can’t put anything up now, but I’ll do a full update later tonight. Monday can’t go by fast enough.

The Exorcist… Do You Know What She Did?!?!

What is it with little girls being so scary? Well I have the scariest one of all for you here… poor, sweet, innocent, yet so possessed Regan from the scariest movie of all time, The Exorcist! A righteous pick for being the very last going into Halloween. If you missed any of the previous backgrounds this October, you can find them all here for your viewing pleasure. Hope you enjoyed as much as I did.

The Weekend Is Set

So it looks like plans may be set for tomorrow night. No parties. No drinking. A couple friends and one of the friend’s kid is coming over to carve pumpkins early on. After, I think it’s off to Sierra Madre again this year for the festive fun and pumpkin patch. I’d much rather be doing the kids stuff than the adult stuff on Halloween.

Later that night, a friend and I are taking off to Arizona for the weekend to see another friend graduate to a full on firefighter on Saturday and to also see the NASCAR race Sunday. It’ll be nice to breathe some air that’s not ash-filled. Just gonna drive through the night and get there sometime tomorrow morning. It’ll be a nice break. Got 2 still cameras and my camcorder ready to go so I should come back with tons of drunk and naked pictures. I’m sure you can’t wait. Oh joy!

I’ll probably get my last scary movie background up tonight and have it stay like that all weekend. When I get back Sunday night, you should see a brand new theme that will most likely stick around until next spring. I’m pretty happy with it. Definitely my favorite out of the bunch. I’m not artistic in any way, shape, or form so it takes me a while to come up with something that I like. As it turns out, I tend to only like simple, functional designs (especially on blog-type sites), and this next one is no exception.

Tomorrow needs to come quicker.
