Another scary classic being thrown up. Here’s the monster from Frankenstein.

Horny Hockey Lost
Man! How can you not love fall? Hockey has started. Lost has started. It’s darker outside. Not so much cooler right now here in SoCal, but it eventually will cool down. Is it me, or do ya just get hornier in the fall? I sure do! Too much info?
I’m sitting here watching a great game between the Kings and Red Wings. Wings are up 2-1. Hopefully the Kings will pull it out. Man I hate the Wing! So happy I’m watching hockey again. The game is pretty much the same as before, but a lot faster. I’m digging it. If there’s one thing I don’t like, it would be the tiny ass blockers they’ve given the goalies. I have no idea how those things are going to help to block anything. Oh well. Go Kings!
Lost is back on! We’re 4 episodes into the second season. I don’t think I’ve been this into a show since the X-files. I can’t even begin to describe how good this show is. Now you’re telling me I can also watch reruns on my iPod?! Well that certainly doesn’t suck.
As for being horny in the fall, tell me I’m wrong. You know you’re sitting there wanting to have some hot sex right now. It’s definitely something in the air. Maybe it’s the fall colors that get the blood flowing. I don’t know. I might have to “share these feelings” with someone soon.
Stickman
Another scary movie theme. I’m going to go through these pretty quickly this year. Plan on putting up a new one every Saturday and Wednesday night for the month of October. Today’s theme comes from one of the scariest movies of all time. A lot of people don’t think so, but I think The Blair Witch Project is just a complete mind fuck, especially when you watch it for the first time. The “stickman” is what you get for a background today.
iPod Whore
I’m an idiot. That’s a given, but top that off with me being an impulse buyer and you have a recipe for disaster. I just bought a new 60GB iPod in August. Right after they announced the new iPod with video capabilities today, I just put in my order for a black 60GB. I’m a consumer whore.
2006 Suzuki GSXR600 & GSR600
Trying to keep in the habit of posting. All of the 2006 bikes are being released and here’s two that I’m in love with.

Waiting…
Waiting… will never get the credit it deserves in the theaters in terms of ticket sales and critic reviews. I haven’t read a single positive review yet and, really, I don’t expect to. It’s not a flick that’s going to go over well with the “professional” critic. Give it another 5-10 years, though, I’m sure you’ll be hearing all of those same critics tell you exactly what I’m about to tell you today. Waiting… is the funniest movie I’ve seen in several years!

Alright, there’s not much to the story. There’s a group of waiters, cooks, and hostesses that all work at this restaurant, Shenanigan’s, and movie goes through what their basic day is like with one of the characters going through the “what am I doing with my life” thing. Simple. Ryan Reynolds is really the centerpiece in this flick. He’s a damn riot in every film he does and that doesn’t change here as the one-liner quick comeback smartass delivered in his own signature way. An absolute scene stealer. All of the other characters have their own personalities, but when it comes down to it, they really add fuel to Ryan’s character, Monty. Anna Faris as Serena is hot as all hell and that definitely hurts nothing. When introduced to Dane Cook‘s character, Floyd, we get one of the most memorable line in the movie. “Welcome to thunderdome bitch!”
The flick is just oozing with absolutely ridiculous lines and scenes that we’re all going to be remembering and repeating for years to come. How many times have you referenced Spatula City from UHF, or the 37 dicks sucked from Clerks, or the red stapler from Office Space? You’re gonna do the same for penis game from Waiting…. When walking home, all I could do was replay the gut busting scenes in my head and I couldn’t help but laugh out loud again.
Director/writer Rob McKittrick‘s first outing I can’t wait to see what he’s going to follow this up with. I can see this becoming a lot like the View Askew universe with several movies with recuiring actors. He definitely needs to work with Ryan Reynolds and Dane Cook again. Hurry up and bring something else out!

Waiting… is destined to join the ranks of the modern day comedy cult film stardom and sit right up there beside flicks like Office Space, Mallrats, High Fidelity, PCU, Tommy Boy, UHF, Clerks, and so on and so forth. It’s rough, rude, non-apologetic, and (I have to say it again because I can’t emphasize it enough) simply the funniest movie I’ve seen in years. Go now!
The Bride
Better late than never if you ask me. It’s that time of the year again when I like to put up scary movie themes leading up to Halloween, the best damn day of the year. The first theme is from a great scary movie. Here we have the bride from Bride of Frankenstein.
Poor Neglected Site
I can’t believe the amount of neglect I’ve given this site in the last couple of months. There’s been a ton that’s happened and I haven’t said a word about it. I guess I can do some quick catching up right now.
It’s finally fall. I thought summer would never end. This is my absolute favorite time of the year. Everything turns just the right color and it gets a little colder. I love it. I know we’re already 7 days into October, but I’m still going to do the scary movie themes for this month. Probably get the first one rolling this weekend. I was going to do it last night, but the power was out over 3 blocks and I had to spend the night over at the parent’s place. Oh well.
I got back last Tuesday night from a 5 day trip to Rosarito. Lots of drinking. Lots of sleeping. Lots of fireworks. Definitely had some fun. Stayed at the friend’s dad’s beach house again. It was much needed considering how work has been lately. Got tons of pics and video I’ll share with ya soon.
As you can see, I busted a rim on my bike. That happened a couple of weeks ago from a fist-sized rock popping up and hitting it. Already bought replacement rims from eBay and have been installing them over the last couple of days. It’s amazing how much you have to go through just to replace a motorcycle wheel. Good stuff. Should have it all ready to ride again by tomorrow.
This is kinda all I have time for right now, but I’m definitely going to try and post a crap load more this month. Good for me. Bad for you.
Angeles Crest Highway Weekend Ride
I was up at the butt crap of dawn on Saturday and Sunday to go riding up on Angeles Crest Highway. Went about 50 miles in before I hit the “road closed” signs. Here’s a gallery of pics taken with my camera phone. Next time I’ll bring my normal camera to get better images.
Labor Day Weekend & DVD Tuesday
I’ve been in a shitty mood the last couple of weeks. It’s all because of work of course. Probably the reason I’ve neglected this site for a while. I was also getting over food poisoning followed up by a flu last week. Needless to say, my Labor Day weekend was pretty mellow. What I am looking forward to is fall. Only a couple more weeks until it’s officially here. I’ll keep my head up for that.
I had myself a decent little DVD Tuesday. Picked up Lost: Season 1. Never seen a single episode but everyone talks so highly of it. Got through 4 episodes last night and I have to tell ya, I’m hook. Pretty damn good stuff there. Also picked up Nip/Tuck: Season 2. That is, by far, my favorite show currently on TV. It just grabs ya and doesn’t let go. Season 3 starts Sept 20th.
Finally, I picked up Crash. This is, hands down, the best film of the year for me. Makes sense too if you think about it. Last year my favorite movies were We Don’t Live Here Anymore, Closer, Garden State, and Eternal Sunshine of the Spotless Mind. I like flicks about the complexities of human relationships and Crash is very much about this. Set in Los Angeles and drenched with stereotypes, Crash attempts to explore the good and bad in all of us. It shows what could happen when humanity collides into itself with results ranging from violent to heroic to down right heartbreaking. It hits you were it counts and leaves a mark for you to dwell on for a while. There is no better flick you will see this year and I already can’t wait to get back home and watch it again.
Alright, not much of an update, but I figure I’d make it known I’m still alive.
