From all of me to all of you, have a happy and safe new year and a great 2003.

Best Make-Out Car?
I don’t know how this happened, but I guess it’s worth mentioning and then giving ya my comments on it. Some off site did a Best & Worst Make-Out Cars article and they named a Camaro (any year in red) as the number one car to make out in. I have no idea how they came up with this, but it’s absolutely bullsh*t. There is a very good reason why I’ve never done anything in my Camaro. It’s tiny ass all hell on the inside.
Anyway, what do you think is the best car to “make-out” in? The Acura has seen a good amount of action. I think sedans are really the way to go if you’re gonna do that in a car.
Car Instead of Bike?
I think I’m gonna have to ditch the bike idea here for a little while. The only reason I had decided to go with it was because I got the Acura to pass smog and I didn’t need to get another car. Well, even though it did pass, I’m not quite sure how much longer it will last. I’m also putting more miles on my Camaros now and that’s not good since I want to hold onto them for a very long time. Ths being the case, I started to look into loan options from my credit union for a car. Haven’t decided if I’m going new or used yet, but if I go new, I’m definitely looking at the Nissan 350Z Performance or Infiniti G35 Coupe. If I go used, it’s probably gonna be another late model Camaro that I can tinker around with or maybe a late model non-turbo Nissan 300ZX that I can also toy around with. If ya can’t tell, I have a very short attention span and tend to change my mind a lot.
Apple In Pasadena
This is great news for me. Now I have an Apple Store only 5 minutes away from me. Actually, this is terrible news because I have a greater chance of throwing away money on things I just don’t need. Oh well.
Weekly Wrapup
And so the work week quickly comes to a close. I’m sitting here right now trying to quickly cram about 3 months of work into a couple of days before the year is over.
I just finished doing my football picks for the weekend. They’re pretty decent picks and I’m thinking I should have second place by the end of the season. There’s no way I’m catching that first place guy, but I’ll be more than happy with second.
I just found a bunch of old Shockwave movies I made back in the day when I was just learning Flash. They are absolutely terrible but still very amusing to watch so I’ll put those up on my site sometime soon. Please don’t make fun of me too much. I was very very early on. ;)
That storm never came through this week so I’m thinking there might not be as much snow in the mountains as I had planned. I guess we’ll just have to see because I’m going to try and go up there anyway. Gonna take a crap load of pictures so look for that album soon. Also look for my Christmas day album with all the things I was doing with the family. I know that must be so interesting to you.
I’m going out on a “date” tonight. No details right now because I don’t want to pump it up in my mind (or on here) and if it turns out not very interesting, then I probably wont write anything about it. I don’t do the whole “date” thing very well so we’ll see how it goes. I’m more use to the “come over and screw” thing. jk I actually hope it goes ok because this person is more interesting than any of the girls I’ve dated in the last year and a half.
Be back later this weekend with some sort of update. Good luck to us all…
Happy Kwanzaa
How could I almost forget about this great holiday? Kwanzaa, unlike other holidays around this time, focuses on culture instead of particular faith or person. Read here to learn more about it. Although I may not be black (or at least that’s what people tell me), I do feel a special kinship to these great people. I mean I see some everyday. I have black friends and I talk to them occasionally. Well, it’s not really conversation. It’s more like, “Give me back my wallet you f*ck!” while they run and scream white obscenities that belittle my Anglo culture, but that’s beside the point. Anyway, I have my kinara all ready to light and I hope you do to. Help me in celebrating this great holiday for the next 7 days. I love you all my brothas and sistas. Black people are cool!
Quote of the Day: 2002-12-26
Your lord is dead. Get over it. He wasn’t even your lord, he was one of my people and he was a nutcase… If he was born in the 20th he’d be wandering around Venice Beach with a sign and a can. – my Jew friend
Merry Christmas (Happy Holidays to the non-Christian type)
On behalf of everyone on the staff at the-journals.com and roguegeek.com (which is just me), I’d like to wish everyone a very merry Christmas and New Year. For ya non-Christian based religion people, happy holidays. Have a safe season and be good humans.
Santa Claus Is Web Savvy
Check out where www.santaclaus.com is pointing to. Pretty strange when you consider it’s owned by Coral Technologies.
Update (2002-12-25): The site above did point to www.apple.com, but as of right now, it points to something else. It was pointing to Apple’s site for a couple of days before it was redirected again today.
Gift Wrapping, Football, grumble grumble grumble…
I’m heading out of work early today. Maybe 2pm. Gotta get over to my parent’s house to wrap gifts. My cheap ass doesn’t want to buy my own wrapping paper. I’m actually thinking about maybe going to church tonight. It’s something I haven’t been to in about 7 or 8 years and it might be interesting to go again. We’ll just have to see how I feel.
So regular season football is coming to an end. My hopes of actually making it into 1st place in pickem is all but gone after that terrible Tampa Bay loss last night. If I can just get myself back into 2nd place, I’ll be pretty happy especially considering I started out dead last at the very beginning of the season. It’s amazing how things change when you actually start paying attention and doing a little research. I’m kickin’ all ass and taking names next year. Smashem says he wants Rice Krispies but since it’s my pick, I’m gonna get one of those generic bags from the store like Crispy Rice, Puffy Coco Flakes, or Flakey Frost. You know, the ones with Mexican wrestlers on the labels. El Cheery Pops.
Alright, back to pretending to work.
