Happy B-Day Bro
There sure are a lot of July babies I know. That being the case, I just wanted to wish my younger brother a happy birthday today. You’re 22 years old are are already losing your hair faster than me. Also please note: White people can’t get away with shaving their heads completely clean to cover it up. Deal with it. Happy b-day.
Comic Con Bound
Yes, it’s that time of the year again for the largest comic convention in the world, Comic Con International: San Diego! It has already started and will go through the weekend, but a group of friends and myself are only going to be there Sunday. It’s not just comics, though. You’re pretty much going to experience everything that the dork culture has to offer such as toys, fine arts, movies, and animation to name a few. Don’t be afraid when you see the Klingons or Stormtroopers walking around. They come in numbers. Should be fun. Happy Friday.
So if you're reading,…
So if you’re reading, happy birthday. Jennifer
RadioSHARK…? Gimme, Gimme, Gimme!!!
Ok, I have to get Griffin’s RadioSHARK which was announced today. It’s basically a Tivo-like device for radio that works directly with your Mac. Which reminds me, I need to get a Tivo too.
Google Can't Find Them Either
I saw this earlier today and got a little giggle out of it. Type “weapons of mass distruction” into Google and hit “I’m Feeling Lucky”. Very funny. I mean if Google can’t find them, then they just don’t exist.
Taken On DVD
My favorite mini-series of last year has been given a release date for the DVD and I (along with Sleepy I think) am too happy.
Just Another Day
Happy birthday to me, happy birthday to me… hello?
Pics From AZ
I think I might regret showing you guys this, but here it is anyways. Lisa’s pictures from G’s b-day and my trip to see them in Arizona.
5MP/4X Digital Camera Roundup
If you’re in the market for that 5 mega pixel / 4x zoom digital camera, Digital Photography Review has posted reviews for the Canon PowerShot G5, Nikon Coolpix 5400, and Sony DSC-V1. The Sony seems to have come out on top because of its smaller size and price tag $100 less than the Canon or Nikon, but these cameras are so close that it’s really gonna come down to brand loyalty. You simply can’t go wrong with any of them.
One thing I did notice is Nikon has solved all of the chromatic aberrations and “white burn” problems people (including myself) have complained about in the past. This being the case, I would definitely go the Nikon route again and pick up the sturdier, feature rich, manual heaven Coolpix 5400.
