Camino 0.7 (formerly Chimera) was released yesterday morning and in the last couple of hours I’ve been using it, I think I can safely say it’s currently the best overall web browser for OSX. All of the problems with Safari (and the more I use it, the more I find) are non-existent in Camino. I’m mainly talking about speed, CSS rendering, and Shockwave performance. The only 2 things I can think of to make Camino any better are auto-fill forms and a built-in spell checker. Other than that, I am so in love. Download now!

Kordell Stewart? Hmm…
It looks as if Kordell Stewart is going to sign with da Bears sometime today from a late offer given to him last night. I’m very iffy about this, but I think it’s better than the alternative which is going after Jeff Blake in the short term and trying to pick up Brian Griese in June after Denver is expected to let him go. I read this quote in a forum from a Bears fan earlier in the week and I thought it was funny enough to put here.
“Kordell, if we promise not to boo, do you promise not to cry?”

Bought Last Week, Outdated This Week
Well no wonder I got my T68is so cheap last week. Say hello to its replacement, the T610 (or T616 here in the States). This was one of 6 new phones released by Sony Ericsson today. I’m still not sold on having a camera integrated with my phone though. Just pull that whole “feature” out and save me the cost please.
Under The Weather
I’ve been way under the weather all day and have no idea why. Stayed home from work and have been throwing up ever since. My bathroom is nice, but I don’t know if I can live in it anymore. Any post I could have put up today would have been a “thought from the bowl”. Anyway, I feel a lot better than I did this morning. I just hope it’s enough to go into work tomorrow. I guess we’ll see soon.
I’m actually kind of mad I can’t get out right now. I was gonna have myself a Best Buy Tuesday and pick up my favorite movie of last year, The Ring and it’s original Japanese version, Ringu. Maybe even swing by the Apple store and pick up a Bluetooth adapter. Oh well. Tomorrow I guess.

On GSM And Hating It, So Far
My mobile phone provider, AT&T wireless, is doing this promotion where you can switch over from the regular digital network plan to the GSM network plan for the same price. That’s a pretty good deal so I did it. Too bad the GSM network coverage and reliability sucks, but it really only gets better from here. Is anyone else on this network with another provider? How is it?
The phone I got is nice though. It’s the T68is with the silver face instead of that ugly baby blue one. Overall, it feels very chinsy (like all SonyEricsson phones) but it can easily be overlooked by the sheer amount of features. Mmm… Bluetooth.

Crossroad Online: “It’s a car club for all makes of cars. There are some really hot cars already involved, from Imports to Domestics. Finally, a place for people to appreciate a fine looking car without calling it rice or redneck. It’s designed around the REAL enthusiast, the owners… and focuses on the passion most of us have for our vehicles.”
I was way overdue to shamelessly plug a friend’s site.
It's 4:15 in the…
It’s 4:15 in the morning and I can’t sleep. Even if I wanted to, I shouldn’t because I know I’ll wake up late for work. We got a pretty good rain going right now in So Cal. I love it, but Los Angeles and all of its freeways practically shut down anytime it does rain. Think I’ll head on out to Angeles Crest right now and take some pics before I go into work. Should be pretty decent with the sky being the way it is.
Working Under Creative Commons
Like many other sites out there, I have decided to place this site under a Creative Commons License. Creative Commons provides free copyright licenses that are legally sound and explained in ways in which even I can understand. From what gather, the purpose of these licenses is to make it easy and clear to tell others we want to enforce some (or none) of our rights as copyright holders. Their movie and FAQs helped a lot in trying to understand this.p class=”small” align=”center”>

It’s all very interesting stuff and I suggest you check it out. At the very least, watch the movie. it explained a lot for me. Good luck to us all…
