See anything interesting at the 2004 Geneva Motor Show? I think you know what I’m gonna rave about already. Check out the BMW Concept M5.

A Quick Observation
iPod mini Dissection
I know. I know. I haven’t been updating. I really mean to. There’s a lot that’s been going on and it’s all good. Until I can find the time to give you a full on update, though, check out what’s inside the iPod mini.
PMA 2004
The 2004 Photo Marketing Association show kicks off for the public in Las Vegas today and Digital Photography Review has a very nice show report that sums up most of the major releases. Some things I’m interested in… The Fujifilm FinePix S3 Pro is looking to be just as bad ass as the S2 is (and I really love that S2). Konica Minolta’s Maxxum 7 Digital could be a nice budget D-SLR. Keep your fingers crossed and maybe Kodak’s DCS Pro SLR/n will be everything that the disappointing 14n promised to be (which is good). Canon’s EOS-1D Mark II is pure awesomeness. As far as I’m concerned, it’s easily going to be the “end all, be all” of D-SLRs right now.
GarageBand and CC
Lessig: “…one missing piece has been a simple way to know what content you’re free to mix and remix within your GarageBand app. MacBand has now solved that problem. They’ve got a great archive of music by genre – all marked with Creative Commons licenses.”
I’ve been hanging around MacBand for the last day or so and there’s some real good (as well as real bad) content up there. Starting to inspire me to throw my own crappy GarageBand tracks up there too. If and when I do, I’ll let ya know it’s there. Ohh, and if you have something to share, link me to it.
I'm Not Dead
I’ve been neglecting my site for a while now, but there’s good reason for it. I can’t get into it right now, but I will soon. Until then, do ya see anything interesting from the Chicago Auto Show that’s been happening this week? The new Kia pickup isn’t too bad.
Janet's Super Bowl Boob
Umm, did I really see what I think I saw? Oh yeah. I did. Enjoy.ul>
LOTR Can Suck My Butt
It is beyond me why anyone thinks The Lord of the Rings movies, especially this last one, were any good. The trilogy as a whole was beyond disappointing. Do people seriously believe The Return of the King deserved 11 Academy Award nominations. This reminds me of when the awards show was dropping in viewer a couple of years ago and the Academy went and nominated Titanic a ton of times to get the younger crowd watching again.
20 Years & Counting…
So this last Saturday, January 24, 2004, the Macintosh turned 20 years old and strangely enough, I was pretty quiet about it here. Even stranger is the fact that Apple has been pretty quiet about it. You would have thought they would have put up a new banner or something on the home page, but nothing. Anyway, there are a good amount of articles recently published on the event and I’ve gathered some of the more interesting ones here:

Jersey Girl
He stunned his fans when he said he wouldn’t be making anymore movies dealing with characters from the past films and now it looks like Kevin Smith is growing up a little more with his next flick, Jersey Girl. The “dick and fart joke” crowd, a majority of his fan base, need not apply here as there looks to be not a swear word in sight and that’s fine with me. Leave that degenerate, sub-human crowd behind is what I say. What I’m sure there will be is the smart writing and intelligent humor Smith brings to each and everyone of his films. I’m highly anticipating Jersey Girl and, as always, can’t wait to see what he’s doing next.
