A Great Start To The Day

Guess where I am? It’s not at work where I should be. I’m sitting in my f*ckin’ room waiting for the police to get here. We have a garaged parking lot and it seems as though a fair amount of cars were broken into last night. Turns out my Acura was one of them. I’ve NEVER had anything like this happen to me before so I’m pretty shaken up about it. My stereo, gone. About 10 CDs, gone. Britney Spears, come back to me!!! I’m so gonna cry.

The-Journals Music

I posted an piece of music on the left under the calender embeded into the page with QuickTime. It’s set to auto play and all you have to do is press stop if you don’t want to hear it. I’ll change it up every once in a while, but it shouldn’t ever be something too loud (depending on my mood).

Can anyone guess who did this first selection and where it’s from?

Quote of the Day: 2002-08-26

Sometimes people are able to bring questions to light that really provoke feeling and make us rethink the way we live our lives . This is not one of those questions:

“Dude, I know why people have pubic hair, but why don’t they have it behind their knees?” – Hien Tran

Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar

I came back from the Jaguar release party a couple of hours ago and just installed Mac OS X 10.2 Jaguar onto my machine. Now time to install it on my PowerBook. I’ll put up the pictures I took from the release party on my photo album in a couple of hours. Oh happy day!

Post Movies

I finally took the time to figure out how to post a movie with a spash screen before the actually movie is downloaded. It’s nothing hard to figure out. I’ve just never taken the time to try it. What it basically does is “post” a static image over an embeded movie within a page. You then click on the image and it starts to download the movie. This helps a lot because now you have the option to download a movie or not. Take for example the “Al Dance” post I put up several days ago. Every time you visited my site, it would start to download the movie because it’s on the front page. Now it wont unless you click on the movie first. Anyway, it’s nothing special, but I don’t really have anything else to talk about right now. Just know that any movies I upload will have the proper “post” code in it from now on.
