My Christmas Wish List

Alright, so I need to set some criteria or I’ll be asking for Porsche 911 GT2 (which is obviously out of reach for now). How about I just say stuff which would be in my parent’s/friend’s reach? Good enough for me. Actually, the more and more I thought about it, the more I found that I really didn’t want anything. Money is really the best give. God bless the relatives. Although this is the case, there were a couple of little things I definitely wouldn’t mind getting. So onto the list.

Aliens & Christmas Lists For Everyone

I know I haven’t been updating like I’ve wanted to, so I’ll explain what I’ve been working on. I’m trying to put up a couple of Christmas lists right now. A Christmas music list, a Christmas movies list, and (of course) my Christmas wish list. Maybe you’ll see one tonight.

Have you guys checked out the Sci Fi channel original mini-series, Taken? Wow. What a great set of movies. It’s basically about these 3 families and how they’re all related to being taken by visitors from another planet. One family is being taken all the time, another family is in the armed forces and heads up trying to figure out what the visitors want, and some of the people in the other family are half breeds of the visitors. It’s all very interesting. Anyway, check it out if ya have time.

Alright, back to football.

Ramen Week

There are certain things I have to pay for this month and this being the case, I’ve turned this week into a week where I don’t spend any money. It’s gonna be hard considering I am running out of clean clothes and eating is kind of a necessity. Food I have covered though. My lunches will be provided to me by the good people who make all the different types of ramen noodles. Ramen, a noodle phenomenon we’ve all come to love and standard snack accepted by college students alike. Cheap and easy to make, ramen will continue to fuel the starving and broke for generations to come.

Tis The Season

So look at that! It is December already. I don’t think that’s a good thing that time passes so quickly. It makes me want to hurry up and accomplish thing that I’ve been wanting to do for years. I wont get into those things right no. Later definitely. ;) So who here likes Christmas? Me, I usually do. Last year was terrible, but this year is looking much better. I have my own “traditions” I’ve done every year and I’ll being doing the same this year. Maybe I’ll even have someone to share them with (knock on wood). Maybe not. Either way, I’m gonna do my best to get into the season and not fight it. No reason to be unhappy when, well, when there’s no reason to be unhappy. Getting into the season consists of doing a couple of things. One, the lights are going up. Ok. The lights have been up for a year now because I was too lazy to take them down. Guess this means I just need to turn them on. Two, I have to get a tree. I don’t need something big. Maybe just something to put on the table. That’s good enough for me. Three, you can’t have Christmas without Christmas movies and music. With that being said, you can’t go wrong with the greatest Christmas album of all time, A Charlie Brown Christmas and the greatest Christmas movie ever, It’s A Wonderful Life. Now let’s see how the holidays turn out. Good luck to us all…

Thoughts From The Bowl: 2002-11-28

Welcome to another exciting installment of “Thoughts From The Bowl”. As always, I’m writing this via my toilet, laptop, and 802.11b. Three things that I give much thanks to on this fine Thanksgiving day. I came. I ate. I kicked its ass! And this poop I’m taking is a direct effect of this. How tasteful of me to bring that up. ;) Anyway, onto my thought.

There is no doubt in my mind that my Acura will not pass smog inspection this next month. This being the case, I think I need to sell it now and get what I can out of it or else I’ll be stuck with having to bring it up to par with California emission standards before trying to sell it later. Then I’ll have to decide on if I should get my bike (either the Honda CBR600F4i, Yamaha YZF-R6, or Suzuki GSX-R600) or another Camaro.

Mmm, Turkey

Thanksgiving is upon us once again and what better way to celebrate a Native American genocide than with the slaughtering of turkeys, pigs, cows, etc…? If you want to check out a different perspective of Thanksgiving, pick up A People’s History of the United States by Howard Zinn. The content in there will make you rethink everything you learned in grade school.

Now I’m off to do the family thing. I’d just like to give everyone who reads this stuff my very best wishes and hope you have a happy Thanksgiving.
